    The Opportunity

A dated 1970s ranch in Norwalk needed a complete exterior transformation. The homeowners wanted to convert from aging vinyl siding to James Hardie fiber cement for a modern coastal aesthetic. The project included new trim, fascia, and soffit work to complement the siding upgrade.

    Before

    Before

The original vinyl siding was faded, warped in several sections from sun exposure, and had lost its insulating value. Several panels had cracked during recent hailstorms. The aluminum soffit and fascia were oxidized, and the foam-backed insulation board beneath the vinyl had degraded significantly.

    The Outcome

We installed James Hardie HardiePlank lap siding in Arctic White with HardieTrim in Iron Gray for a crisp modern contrast. All soffit and fascia were replaced with color-matched aluminum. A premium housewrap with integrated drainage plane was installed beneath. The home looks brand new and the fiber cement will maintain its appearance for 30+ years.
