The existing 4-inch aluminum gutters were undersized, clogged with debris, and had separated from the fascia in several locations. Downspouts discharged directly at the foundation. Standing water was visible around the perimeter after every rain, and the basement showed chronic moisture intrusion.
The Outcome
We installed oversized 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters with leaf guard protection on all runs. Strategic downspout placement with underground drainage pipes directs water 15 feet away from the foundation. The system handles the heaviest Connecticut rainfall without overflow. Basement moisture issues were completely resolved.
